Eye-catching signage for George Northwood's first solo salon
We were commissioned by Made Thought to produce a distinctive outdoor sign in time for the launch of the new George Northwood salon in Fitzrovia. The salon is Northwood’s first solo venture and represents his unique sense of style and prestigious reputation. The signage is a key element of the salon’s brand identity.
Made Thought entrusted us to follow their creative brief to produce signage to the highest possible spec. For the success of the project, it was imperative for installation to occur on site in time for the launch and for the signage to be seamlessly operational from the get-go.
The project involved carrying out a site survey, liaising with the electricians and making sure the sign was made with all the HSE considerations and future-proofing in mind. The sign itself was crafted from aluminium and then anodised, with LED diffused lighting tubes matching the supplied colour reference. The George Northwood logotype was expertly surface-mounted onto the glass using adhesive cast vinyl lettering.
